After School Camp (ASC) is a program run by PCC School Age Child Care that operates according to the Redwood City Unified School District calendar. This program is offered for children entering kindergarten through 8th grade.
Each child is seen as a growing individual who we want to see develop and learn more about who they were born to be. The program promotes activities that help build healthy relationships, increase competency, and explore various age-appropriate interests.
Our staff strives to meet the recreational, educational, social, cultural and spiritual needs of all our children. After School Camp provides campers with homework help, a supportive environment, and an opportunity to explore new activities and friendships.
What After School Camp Offers:

After School Pick Up
PCC SACC provides school pick up from Orion, Roosevelt, Roy Cloud, and North Star in our passenger vans. We provide booster car seats for our campers under 8 years old. All After School Camp drivers must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean drivers record with the DMV. All drivers receive extra training.
Homework Time
Monday through Thursday we have homework time in groups (40 minutes for Olders, and 30 minutes for Youngers). This is a time where everyone is quietly working on school work, reading, or other academic materials. If campers need more time for homework, they can continue in the SACC office. If campers don’t have homework, SACC provides a variety of books for 20 minutes of quiet reading. Chromebooks are available to our middle school students for their homework.

Snack Time
Campers are offered daily snack with a minimum of two food groups distributed by their counselor. We can reasonably accommodate campers who are allergic to nuts, dairy, and gluten. We do encourage parents to provide campers with food allergies to bring their own snacks.
Choice Time
Campers get the option of choosing one of several activities on a weekly basis. Choice Time consists of the classic fine motor, gross motor, and cognitive learning categories. Here at PCC SACC we are making efforts to provide campers with a chance to explore beauty (creativity), abundance (entrepreneurship), and order (science) through our camp programming.

Bible Time
Each week campers are invited to participate in Bible Time. Bible Time is a fun experience where the we sing and dance, watch skits, and explore what it means to follow Jesus. Click here to learn more about Bible Time.
*During the school year PCC SACC is under state license, therefore Bible Time is optional for parents and campers to choose.
