After School Camp Counselor

Under the direct supervision of the PCC SACC Site Director, the Kindergarten After School Camp Counselors are responsible for the safety and supervision of their kinder group. Kindergarten After School Camp Counselors lead excellent structured activities for campers to enjoy. After School Camp Counselors are key in representing PCC SACC to Redwood City families.

A Kindergarten After School Camp Counselor provides excellent group instruction involving all students equally while implementing scheduled activities that enrich after school time for all kinder campers. The After School Camp Counselors role is to act as a teacher and a positive role model. The After School Camp Counselor must engage their group in both teams and individual activities, while going over safety and camp rules. After School Camp Counselors not only teach camp activities but social interaction skills as well. The After School Camp Counselors play a crucial role in helping PCC SACC make After School Camp a memorable and enriching experience for campers.

Bible Time Associate

During After School Camp, we hold Bible Time once a week.  We rotate through many different activities, to learn about stories and themes from the Bible. We strive to provide an inclusive and well-rounded experience for our campers.

The Bible Time Associate brings a lively, fun, outgoing attitude to camp. It is important to motivate the kids and counselors by being visibly excited about Bible Time (BT), answering questions confidently and enthusiastically, and bringing light and life when interacting with kids. The Bible Time Associate is invested in finding ways to encourage campers to explore their faith in God.
